Målet med denne RFP og den påfølgende dialogen er å gi NRK et intercomsystem som er i stand til å møte NRKs langsiktige strategiske mål.

Intercom-systemet er en sentral komponent i en kringkastingsproduksjonsplattform. Det er viktig for NRK å finne både det riktige produktet og en langsiktig partner, med et produktveikart som er i tråd med hele omfanget skissert som en del av SSA-K vedlegg 1. Intercom-spesifikasjonen kommuniserer følgende NRK-krav for å informere en RFP prosess:
• En leverandørpartner for å levere, utvikle og støtte et intercom-produkt.
• Spesifikk grunnleggende funksjonalitet for den første utgivelsen av NRKs moderniserte produksjonsplattform (MPP v0.5).
• Et intercom-produkt med et veikart som oppfyller langsiktige strategiske mål.
