Procurement of a framework agreement for operational leasing of tablets

Lørenskog Municipality currently has a contract for operational leasing of tablets for the education sector. The municipality has approx. 5000 pupils in primary and secondary schools who have their own tablets, as well as employees in nurseries and schools with their own tablets in addition. It is important for Lørenskog to ensure continuity in schools and maintain continual access to tablets, and the aim of the new contract is to ensure efficient access to tablets for use particularly in educational situations, but also for the rest of the municipality if required. Lørenskog Municipality would like to use operational leasing to ensure predictability. The starting point for the procurement is to continue use of iOS based tablets 1:1 for all pupils and teachers in primary and secondary schools. Tablets are the pupils' main everyday day. iOS based tablets will be procured to ensure continuity and use of investments connected to software for the platform. This comes under the exception in the PPR section 15-1 (4) letter a), 'necessary for the purpose of the procurement'.
