South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk) is purchasing a universal testing system according to this tender documentation. Equipment will be located to Mikpolis RDI-unit in Mikkeli.

Pricing must include shipping costs to Mikkeli Finland (Patteristonkatu 3, 50100 Mikkeli, Finland).

The primary use of the device is static mechanical testing of solid materials. It is our intention that this will be a multi-user facility within our department, accessible by a wide group of researchers, and therefore ease of use, and low maintenance requirements are especially important. Ease of use features should include load cells with wide test force range (accuracy class of 1 % from 1/1000 to 1/1 range). Existing measurement equipment i.e., extensometrs, LVDT and strain gages systems should be compatible with the testing system. Software should be fully based on Microsoft Windows 10 and should include a full package enabling system control, data acquisition, calculation and reporting of test results. The Supplier should also be able to provide factory trained staff in service and support of the device. Installation and user training must be included.

The budget for the testing system is EUR 80 000,00 (0% VAT). Tenders exceeding this will not be accepted by the Customer.
