The newly developed part of the existing system is for registering an ambulance journal where patient information is connected with information registered during the ambulance assignment. Helse Midt-Norge intends to enter into a contract for a fully developed system for an ambulance journal for prehospital services with Bliksund AS, this includes an expansion of a system procured earlier for registering ambulance assignments, document database, check list, vehicle module and municipality form. The newly developed part of the existing system is for registering an ambulance journal where patient information is connected with information registered during the ambulance assignment. Based on market surveys, the contracting authority has concluded that Bliksund AS is the only supplier who can deliver the mentioned system immediately and at a low price. Another important additional reason for the chosen supplier is that the system is a further development of Ambustat, the previously chosen system for registering assignments and other information. The new system also includes integration with the system for the AMK centres where the user is sent information that has been registered and is connected to the specific assignment. We see the establishment of an ambulance journal as a temporary system whilst we wait for the Helseplattform, this new platform will also include electronic patient journals for ambulances (PEPJ). Due to the above, the contracting authority is of the opinion that Bliksund AS is the only supplier who currently has the technical competence to deliver a ready developed system for an ambulance journal that is connected to the already procured administration module for prehospital services, as well as including integration with the existing AMK system in Helse Midt-Norge.
