Time: — the residents will receive the time they need at the farm, — to establish a new identity takes a long time. Mentors: — all who come will get a mentor who has experience with drug dependency, — through experience from their own recovery, the mentors are an important support to get ahead in life, — the objective is that all who move into Jegersberg will in the long term become mentors and help ‘the new’ arrivals’ achieve a good rehabilitation. Community: — the community is important at the farm, — everyone works together, important decisions are made together, live together, eat together and not least, the community is good to have during difficult days. Qualification: — by living at Jegersberg Gård over several years, the residents will gain skills that they take further in life, — it is an experience with daily work, making food, house cleaning, working as part of a team, as well as having a good handle on finances. Those who move away from Jegersberg shall have their own job and own residence. The residents must be over 18 years of age and have long-term drug dependency that is primarily related to illegal drugs. Rehabilitation at Jegersberg Gård is for those who have experienced that they need time to learn to live drug-free and are determined to take the time they need. The residents must have the goal of entering into active rehabilitation and participate in work and community from the time they move in. They must also believe that they can live and work in a mentor-based community that is drug and medication free. Establishment of a similar offer in Drammen: — Drammen kommune shall establish a similar rehabilitation offer at DrammensGården. After completing their rehabilitation time at Jegersberg gård, residents can be mentors at DrammensGården, — the reason for signing a contract with Jegersberg gård is that Drammen kommune is not aware of other service providers in Norway who offer rehabilitation based on the same principals as San Patrignano and Basta, — Drammen kommune, therefore, intends to enter into up to four indeterminate term contracts. It is difficult to be exact regarding the annual value of the contract.
