SYKEHUSINNKJØP HF 916879067 Tollbugata 7 Vadsø 9800 Synnøve Norunn Simonnes synnove.norunn.simonnes@sykehusinnkjop.no https://permalink.mercell.com/79621215.aspx http://www.sykehusinnkjop.no/ Analyses tubes for 96 well plate for use with LCMS methods, for delivery to Helse Bergen HF [Bergen Hospital Trust] 2017/1732 Helse Bergen HF intends to enter into a framework agreement for the purchase of analyses tubes for 96 well plates for use with LCMS methods. After comprehensive testing, the Contracting Authority has found only 1 type of tube that meets the quality requirements. See the basis in Part II. 2.4) to this prior information notice. 2600000.00 Haukeland University Hospital. The hormone laboratory at Haukeland University Hospital performs multiple hormone analyses with the mass spectrometry method. Vitamin D makes up the largest volume with approx. 100000 analyses, and steroid hormones approx. 30000 (2016). The tests are prepared with liquid-liquid extraction before analysis on a Hamilton Microlab Star Plus test preparation robot with 96 heads. The hormone laboratory uses insertion tubes as inserts in 96 well analyses plates from evaporation of the samples to application on the LC systems. We set multiple requirements for the functionality of these tubes: — -Must be able to be used for all of our steroid hormone and vitamin analyses, — -Must be suited to/fit in the analyses plates utilised, — -Must be easily placed in the operator’s analyses plate, — -Must not give rise to interference in the analysis, — -Must be able to tolerate the solvents used, i.a. Hexane, Ethyl Acetate and Methanol, — -Must have even and reproducible design and good quality, — -Must not, due to design or otherwise, give rise to air bubbles or in any other manner affect the analysis, and must also give minimal dead space, — -Must be clean and not contain particles, bits of packaging etc, — -Optimal work-flow is very important for the laboratory and is part of the assessment of suitable tube types Time spent checking tube quality, reanalysis of tests and centrifuging is assessed negatively. Testing and conclusion. During testing of multiple tube types in period August to December 2016, it was seen that time spend during the work can vary significantly between the tube types: there was repeatedly found particle remnants, i.a. from packaging, in some tube types. Checking of tubes for pollution resulted in increased time spent, and tubes were thrown away due to impurities and particles. Particles and impurities are particularly bad for analysis on LCMS, as the risk of blockage of the LC system is high with the increased use of the LC columns and increased downtime of the instruments as a consequence. It also applies to particles that are not visible in visual inspections. For some tube types, the packing in the packaging resulted in more work when transferring the tubes to the analysis plate. The tubes must be placed individually in the analysis plate, or placement must be adjusted manually. In some tube types, air bubbles were observed during preparation due to the design of the bottom. Centrifuging of the test is thus necessary. For individual tube types, design and quality vary so that many of the tubes must be thrown away and samples must be taken again. Much tide is thus used for checking of tubes and reanalysis of samples, which is not desirable. After testing, only one tube type was found to be well suited to the purpose in accordance with all requirements: Finneran: 407FPT-837VL - 0.7mL Glass Flat Pulled Tapered Vial, 8 x 37mm, for 96 Deep Square Well Plates, in Vial Loader (Supplier Teknolab AS). These tubes can be used for all of the analyses, with optimal time use. The tubes were simple to place in the analysis plate with a simple hand grip where 96 tubes could be placed simultaneously. The shape of the tube and bottom means that the pipette tip easily moves into place. No air bubbles formed. The quality of the tubes was acceptable in regard to evenness and reproducibility. No particles or other impurities were found, such as packaging remnants. With later use, blockage of columns etc. which can indicate that the tubes contain impurities, were not recorded. Option on an extension of the agreement for up until 1 year + 1 year. Refer to the comprehensive basis under Part II 2.4). 1 Analyses tubes for 96 well plate for use with LCMS methods, for delivery to Helse Bergen HF [Bergen Hospital Trust]. 2018-01-21 Teknolab AS Verkstedveien 29 Ski 1400 2600000.00 SYKEHUSINNKJØP HF DIVISJON VEST Bergen 2018-01-25
