Short description
Lot 2: The SM V2 is intended to be used on the existing Ring Mount, with a small pivot pin (NATO G3 cone), of an unprotected tactical vehicles wherefore weight is an issue. The SM V2 is to support weapons such as 40 mm Automatic Grenade Launcher Heckler & Koch (AGL) and 12.7 mm Heavy Machine Gun Browning M2. It should be possible to mount a Fire Control System (FCS). The FCS is used when the AGL is mounted in the SM V2. An initial purchase of 18 units is expected, however DALO is not obliged to buy any minimum quantity during the lifetime of the agreement. It should be possible to operate the soft mount off the vehicle using a M3 Tripod.
