Supplier and Dialogue Conference Houses — Tromsø Municipality
Tromsø municipality invites relevant suppliers in the housing branch to a supplier and dialogue conference Thursday 21.5.2015 at Næringslivets hus, Grønnegata 83 (in the centre of Tromsø). The supplier and dialogue conference will be held as a separate section in one of the regular dialogue meetings that Tromsø municipality holds in cooperation with Næringsforeningen in the Tromsø region.
Background
On 29.4.2015 Tromsø municipal council adopted the Housing Policy action nplan 2015-2018. A short verson of the action plan can be found on the link http://postliste.tromso.kommune.no/motedag?offmoteid=52869, see case 0070/15, 2. annex 1 ‘housing policy action plan enough houses’.
An important measure in the plan is that as many municipal houses as possible shall be integrated into the ordinary housing stock (see main aim 2). The municipality wants the purchase and procurements of municipal houses to simultaneously trigger more houses in the ordinary housing market and would like to develop new collaboration models with the housing branch and the Housing Bank of Norway in order to realise this (see main aim 4).
Municipal houses can be owned by the municipality, rented for subletting, or the municipality can have an agreement on the right to award houses. 33 000 000 NOK has been put aside per annum in the municipal investment budget for the procurement/purchase of municipal owned houses in the plan period. In addition there is leasing for subletting and award rights. The aim is 440 new municipal houses by the end of 2018. In addition there are houses for 70 refugees, cf. the resolution in the municipal council 29.04.

After the meeting the municipality will invite tenderers to one-to-one meetings with actors in the branch. Further information on the schedule for the one-to-one meetings will be provided by 15 May.
The final execution of purchases, procurements, announcements etc. will be made in accordance with the usual legal procedures after the dialogue period.

At the end of the meeting Næringsforeningen would like to get input on the form and content of the regular dialogue meetings between the municipality and the branch in the future, set up against our specialists etc.
Practical information
The meeting will take place on Thursday 21 May 8:30-10:30 at Næringslivets hus, Grønnegata 83 (in the centre of Tromsø). The conference will be streamed so that actors who cannot be present in Tromsø can follow it.
Register for the conference and one-to-one meetings by 14 May with benedikte.rorvik.nilsen@tromso.kommune.no. State the desired date for the one-to-one meetings: Thursday 21 May (same day as the conference, after 12:00) or Thursday 28 May.
