The vision for TimeWorld is to create a unique visitor attraction, the first attraction in the world which researches, experiments and plays with time. TimeWorld is a new type of attraction that combines the best elements from amusement parks and science centres and provides equal measures of fun, play and learning. TimeWorld will use advanced technology, interactive and engaging play and learning spaces for children and adults. Attraction specifics are as follows:
— App. 7 000-8 000 m² of attraction space,
— Target of app. 300 000 annual visitors,
— Visitors dwell-time of up to app. 3 hours,
— According to the master plan TimeWorld's physical location will be in the area containing MCH Messecenter Herning, Jyske Bank BOXEN and MCH Arena.
The TimeWorld project is developed jointly by City of Herning, MCH A/S, Realdania and Central Denmark Region. The client is investigating and clarifying whether it makes sense to establish an attraction in Herning. The forthcoming phase of the project is to develop a product conceptual design.
