Revised Long-range aerial drone with heavy payload

Short description

The contracting authorities intends to jointly buy:

Long-range aerial drone (unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)) with the following mandatory minimum requirements:

- Complies with technical requirements in EASA PDRA-G01 and PDRA-G02

- Typical kinetic energy up to 34 kJ from 120 m altitude

- Maximum characteristic dimension 3 m

- Transport size less than 2 m in diameter

- Payload should be over or equal 6 kg

- The drone should be suitable for vertical take-off and landing.

- The drone will be designed as a field mapping tool for the laser scanners, optical cameras, water quality/quantity sensors, etc. These kinds of instrumentation should be able to be attached onto the drone, occasionally more than one at a time.

- Flight time with 6 kg payload should be at least 120 minutes

- Minimum flight speed of the drone should be 5 m/s or less. Capability also to fly with up to 12 m/s flight speed or more.

- Safety systems for landing (e.g. parachute)

- Operation wind conditions, at least up to 12 m/s wind speed

- Electric or hybrid motor; If not fully battery powered, must use fuel that is commonly available for purchase in rural areas

- Remote control: radio control up to 15 km range. Option to be able to support longer range 30 km+ have to be offered this can be e.g. LTE link or a satellite C2 link. Also real-time video feed from drone to remote control have to be included.

- Operating Temperature range at least -10 to 40C,

- The drone should be equipped with a location positioning system (GNSS: GPS+GLONASS+BeiDou+Galileo). Options for RTK and VRS functions are required.

- The Ingress protection rating must be at least IP45 at minimum.

- Applications: Remote control software

- Factory test prior to client´s acceptance of the delivery

- Availability of maintenance and calibration services; Maintenance checks and possible calibrations of equipment shall be available, if needed, from the Supplier also after the warranty period has ended. Maintenance program, costs of the maintenance and maintenance program (done by user or company) should be specified.

- The Supplier shall guarantee the availability of spare parts also after the warranty period has ended.

- Training; At least one-day user training

- must be a commercial product (not one-off custom unit for this tender). To ensure the maturity of the drone model offered, the manufacturer has produced at least 10 drones of the same model. Major components of these drones are identical.

This procurement includes mandatory options. Mandatory options must be offered and are:

- Option to be able to support longer range 30 km+ have to be offered, this can be e.g. LTE link or a satellite C2 link

- Maintenance program, costs of the maintenance and maintenance program (done by user or company) should be specified

- Options for RTK and VRS functions
