Funet CNaaS IP/MPLS routing and Ethernet switching equipment

Short description

The purpose of this procurement is to secure a framework contract with a single supplier for purchasing IP/MPLS routing and Ethernet switching equipment and their Network Operating System (NOS) software and related licenses to be used primarily for Funet Campus Network as a Service (CNaaS) service. The procurement also covers related hardware and software support services and spare part service for the requested equipment. The contract to be signed will be a framework contract by nature, meaning that the exact product models, quantities etc. will be defined in more detail during the contract period. CSC will optionally use the equipment also for some other use cases, for example for developing Funet backbone related connectivity services. Such use cases include, but are not limited to, L2 and L3 aggregation, IP peering and generic customer premises edge (CPE). The primary target of this procurement is Funet CNaaS service, though.
