Metsäkeskus etsii tällä kilpailutuksella kumppania, joka pystyy tarjoamaan yhdessä Metsäkeskuksen tietohallinnon kanssa peruskäyttäjille hyvän tukipalvelun. Metsäkeskus tavoittelee myös hyvää palvelujen hinta/laatusuhdetta, jossa palvelujen laatu mitataan systemaattisesti ja palvelun hinnoittelussa huomioidaan toteutunut laatutaso.
