The objective of the announcement is to give providers of broadband services the opportunity to give us their input before the final publication of the tender documentation.
Since government support is only allocated to next generation broadband (with a download speed of at least 30 Mb/s) it is only the existing or planned network with services of such speed that must be mapped.
Providers who already have — or planning the development - such a broadband network in all or parts of the relevant areas in the next three years, are therefore asked to report this to: Hans Inge Gloppen,

The planned project is in the municipalities of Alver, Bjørnafjorden, Etne, Fjaler, Gulen, Hyllestad, Høyanger, Kinn, Masfjorden, Samnanger, Solund, Stad, Ulvik, Vaksdal, Voss and Øygarden.
When the tender competition is published, it will give the providers an opportunity to compete for the individual lots. The estimated value of the individual lot is not yet clear. Grants for each project will be the sum of local co-financing, County/state support and possibly the value of voluntary work. An increase in user fee from the end customer can also be added.
