Kommunene Namsos, Fosnes og Namdalseid slås fra 01.01.2020 sammen og danner nye Namsos kommune. Det er i den forbindelse behov for å få på plass ett felles oppvekstadministrativt system. Den nye kommunen vil ha i overkant av 15 000 innbyggere.
