Short description
DTU requires delivery of a High Power Microfocus X-ray Source (“Røntgenkilde”). The 3D imaging center at DTU Physics wants to purchase High Power Microfocus X-ray Source. The X-ray Source will be part of an instrument for a high throughput and high-resolution tomography of automatically loaded samples. Many samples will be up towards 200mm in circumference and consist of dense materials such as bone. The power and voltage of the source must enable an X-ray beam suitable for quickly measuring a high number of projections so that a tomographic dataset are made that enable a reconstruction with a high spatial resolution (< 30 µm). The source will be used in a radiation shielded room designed for a 160 kVp source.
