Digital inspection of power lines – Image processing and visualizing

Svenska kraftnät is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) aimed at suppliers of services for AI analysis of images and fault detection on power lines and poles.

The purpose of the RFI is to create a better understanding of what the market can offer and what opportunities exist in the field of AI and fault detection using images.

Responses to this RFI will provide Svenska kraftnät with a basis for further procurement, as well as an opportunity for suppliers to offer feedback that they believe is important for achieving the best possible outcome in an upcoming procurement.

Svenska kraftnät wishes to receive overall information from suppliers, as well as information regarding:

1. General supplier questions

2. Analysis and display of images

3. The tool

4. Image quality and format

5. Integration, import and export

6. System-related questions

As part of this market survey and RFI process, Svenska kraftnät aims to maintain a transparent and non-discriminatory dialogue with interested suppliers. Dialogues are planned to be held sometime during the period from week 50 to week 51 in 2025.
