Short description
The Ministry of Transport and Communications has tasked the Norwegian Railway Directorate to plan for the establishment for a direct night train service between Oslo and Copenhagen and/or Hamburg from 2030 at the latest. The first stage of this is to assess how such a service can be established and, if public service compensation is necessary, at what cost. To this end, feedback from relevant train operators (Railway Undertakings) is essential for the directorate in this project.
