Short description

The work addresses the requirements concerning Finland's Maritime Spatial Plan. The Study will adhere to the risk assessment guidelines outlined in the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) Formal Safety Assessment guidelines (IMO FSA 2018).
Key considerations in this context should encompass safety, sustainability, and efficiency of shipping. The study should also address various scenarios and cumulative effects related to the implementation of offshore wind farm plans and the evolution of maritime traffic in the study area.
The area in study is the Gulf of Bothnia.

Earlier Invitation to Tender 228250-2024 on the same risk assessment was suspended.
Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (TRAFICOM) reserves EUR 100 000,00 for the Study.
