Vacuum-proof detector vessel

Short description

Vacuum-proof stainless steel detectors vessels will be acquired by Helsinki Institute of Physics, University of Helsinki. This procurement deals with 14-unit series as per the technical drawing of which is attached to this call. These contain 11 larger units (FAIR-007-30_E_Pocket twin FSF-DV 3040) and 3 smaller ones (FAIR-006-30_C_Pocket single FSF-DV 3030). The details can be found in the technical drawings.
Sealing wires (FAIR-006-30-1_B_Roof seal, FAIR-007-30-1_B_roof seal and FAIR-007-30-2_B_window seal) can be provided by the buyer for vacuum testing, if needed, and thus they must not be included in the quotation.
Copper pins (FAIR-003-10-1_A_pin) can be either hollow (like in the drawing) or solid rods.
The present procurement deals with components to be located in the new FAIR laboratory (https://fair-center.eu), which will operate a particle accelerator for nuclear and particle physics experiments located in Germany. The vessels will be used in room temperature, high vacuum and high radiation environment of particle-accelerator beamlines of the FAIR laboratory. The vessels will be placed in vacuum such a way that pressure inside of the vessel is normal air pressure.
