Veikkaus CRM Optimove SMS delivery partner

Short description

Veikkaus has procured and implemented a CRM solution Optimove, which is being used for multichannel personalised marketing. One of the used channels is SMS channel, which Veikkaus now wants to procure an SMS aggregator to work with.

With this procurement, Veikkaus wants to procure an SMS aggregator, which can fully integrate to Optimove for sending SMS.

It is estimated that Veikkaus will send approximately 5 million SMS messages a year at the start of the contract.

Optimove will be the main system, to which the offered solution will be integrated. Veikkaus expects that integration to Optimove is offered as “out-of-the-box” integration, meaning that Veikkaus nor the tenderer won’t need to do any further development work to get the integration working. In addition to Optimove, Veikkaus will use the solution with other systems for triggered SMS messaging. Such integrations will be Veikkaus’ responsibility, and the procured solution must offer required SMS sending APIs for custom integrations.

The offered solution should have the following features, which are described more in detail in Annex 2.

• Supports full integration with Optimove’s OptiText, with no further development required

• Offers a fully documented API for manual integrations outside Optimove

• Supports sending messages to all mobile networks of Finland

• Supports using Veikkaus’ protected SMS Sender ID

• Has direct contracts with Finnish mobile networks (requirement for protected SMS Sender ID)

• Can be used to send SMS to international numbers.

The implementation of offered solution will start right after the contracts have been signed, estimated 04/2026. Veikkaus expects that the offered solution is implemented and ready for production use with Optimove within 30 workdays from signatures.
