Solicitation IEU-22-0011 for Skrīveri Nursing Home

Short description

1. PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT:
   This is a solicitation announcement for design and construction services as described within the announcement on www.sam.gov (SAM). Offerors are responsible for monitoring the SAM website for changes to the announcement. 2. INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT:
   The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Europe District is soliciting proposals for a design-build construction contract at the Skriveri Nursing Home located in Skriveri, Latvia. The solicitation includes basic design criteria, and the USACE intends to award a resulting contract to a single design-build construction contractor that will complete the 100% design and construct the project. Offerors must be SAM registered, and submit price and non-price proposals no later than the stated deadline in order to be eligible for award of the contract resulting from this solicitation.
3. PROJECT LOCATION:
   The project site is located outside the village of Skrīveri, Latvia. The street address is Ziedugravas, Skrīveru novads, LV-5125, Latvia. The GPS coordinates are 56°37’21.8″N 25°04’05.8″E. The site is 80 km from Riga, the capital city of Latvia.
4. PRE-PROPOSAL SITE VISIT:
   Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit that is tentatively scheduled on 11 May 2022. Offerors must pre-register in advance. See the solicitation posted with this announcement for instructions and complete details.
5. HOW TO RESPOND TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT:
   Proposals must be prepared and submitted according to the instructions within the contract solicitation (plus amendments). Full instructions on how to submit a proposal are within the contract solicitation (plus amendments). Please follow the instructions carefully. Please be sure to submit your proposal no later than the time and date specified in the solicitation (plus amendments). Interested offerors must submit a non-price proposal for evaluation in addition to a price proposal to be considered for contract award.
