Ålesund kommunale eiendom KF plans to announce a contest in the near future for the procurement of a turnkey contract with partnering/clarification for the construction and demolition of Hessa School, Ytre Hessen 7, Ålesund. We would thus like to notify the market about the pending contest.
A limited partnering period is planned before any contract. This will be carried out on the basis on the announced preliminary project. The turnkey contract is scheduled to comprise the construction of a new school next to the existing school. Demolition of the old school after the new school has been taken into use, and development of the school's outside area.
The turnkey contract contest is expected to be announced in September 2022. Hessa School is a primary school that will replace the existing school and facilitate for a future school with capacity for 504 pupils, split between 1st-7th years, and with approx. 60 employees in the school.

The tentative start-up is 1st quarter of 2023, with completion of the new building in the last half of 2024. These dates are tentative and they can be postponed.
