The purpose of the publication of this request for information is not to start a tendering process. This is a request for information submitted as part of a preliminary study and a market survey. Tampere University is seeking a new Financial management solution for projects. Tampere University is currently lacking a comprehensive solution for managing project finances, particularly the finances of externally funded projects (such as projects funded by the EU, national funding agencies or companies). We are looking for a modern, user-friendly, dynamic and modular SaaS solution to serve a variety of needs, in particular: - funding applications and approvals (internal); - financial planning and forecasting; - reporting features, including graphical reports. With this request for information we kindly ask you to give feedback and comment our requirements. Please highlight especially requirements which are show-stoppers for your company / service if there's any. Every comment, question, feedback etc. is highly appreciated and will be taken into account when the contracting entity is finalizing the invitation to tender material. The contracting entity may invite the respondents to separate market dialogue. The aim is to hold market dialogues during October 1st to October 8th, 2021. The contracting entity will invite the respondents to a market dialogue after evaluating the responses given to this request for information. This request for information does not oblige Tampere University to carry out a tendering process. Any decisions about the procurement, manner of procurement, timetable and the content of the invitation to tender will be made after the examination. Reply or lack of reply to this request for information will not affect the tenderers' chances to submit tenders in any procurement procedure. This request for information is not binding on any of the parties involved. The replies to this request for information and other information attached to them are not public and they will not be disclosed to third parties. The tenderer should nevertheless mark sections containing business or trade secrets as 'BUSINESS/TRADE SECRET' or ‘CONFIDENTIAL’. Respondents to a request for information will not be reimbursed for the costs incurred in responding to the request for information. Companies interested in the matter are requested to send a description of their solution and how it meets Tampere's requirements.
