City Bike System, City of Oulu

Short description

This is a request for application for city bike service procurement in the city of Oulu. City of Oulu is procuring a city biker system as a service. The city bike system should include all aspects of the service (end-to-end service) e.g. bikes, racks, other infrastructure, IT-services, customer service, maintenance and balancing of the bikes throughout the contract period. City of Oulu have already planned station locations (could be both physical and virtual stations). Target of the tendering is to procure a long lasting system with a special focus on quality of service, life cycle costs, environmental issues and sustainability. City of Oulu is well-known for it's cycling infrastructure, high cycling modal share and winter maintenance of cycling paths. Negotiation process will be arranged and the final tendering documents will be published during the summer/autumn 2021. City bike service is planned to be launched during the summer season 2022. This is a request for application where all possible candidates are free to submit their applications. All candidates meeting the minimum suitability requirements will be invited to the negotiation round. Each applicant can submit only one application. Applicant can, however, submit separate applications as an individual service provider and as a part of a joint consortium.
