Finland, with over 100 partner companies, is one of over 190 nations participating in the first World Expo in the Middle East, Expo 2020 Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 1 October 2021 to 31st March 2022. Expo 2020 is expected to attract 25 million visits, with 70 per cent of visitors projected to come from outside the UAE.

This position was tendered earlier (30.6.2020, POS4), but due to new information from POS1, POS2 and POS3 tendering results the tender is being floated a second time.
The procurement consists of all the AV and rigging technical installation, commissioning and content programming including detail design and documentation. The assignment includes the installation and commissioning of the user interfaces of the partner screens, the installation of the exterior lighting, the installation of the neon texts of the intro and outro and all the necessary cabling for the entire AV system.
This procurement is valued maximum 200 000 euros.

The exact scope of the cabling work to be agreed with the customer.
All detailed load calculations must be done by the contractor for approval of the actual rigging loads according to the local regulations and safety factors. These documents are to be delivered to Business Finland and Expomobilia. The contractor is responsible for installing all the rigging points including the welded Pad Eye loops and extra beam 11.
All visible cables and installation accessories used in the exhibition space must be black.
The contractor must be able to physically be present at the POS3 preparation phase in Finland during spring 2021 and finalize technical details in collaboration with POS3 supplier.
The coordination between the selected provider and the pavilion main contractor will be organized by Business Finland, to ensure flexible work on site.
