Developing WRF Model and Related Research Support in icing Project

Short description

In the NoICE project, the latest version of the Weather Research Forecast (WRF) model has been modified to implement particular physics models to understand the role of ice on the simulations in the Botnia-Atlantica region and surroundings. The model was also optimised for the project goals (solving icing issues in the Nordic countries). The objective of this procurement is to continue and complete the work with the model and provide the project with expertise in modelling and atmospheric science.
