Large-N array Instrumentation for Active and Passive Seismic Observations

Short description

University of Helsinki, on behalf and representing the FLEX-EPOS national consortium of universities and research institutes will carry out a purchase of seismic instruments in 2020-2024. The FLEX-EPOS consortium is chaired by the University of Helsinki (UH), Department of Geosciences and Geography, and the other consortium members are as follows: University of Oulu, Faculty of Technology, Oulu Mining School (OMS), Geological Survey of Finland (GTK), University of Turku (UTU), Aalto University (AU), Finnish Geospatial Research Institute (FGI) of the National Land Survey, and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd. The consortium will build a national pool of geophysical instruments and multi-disciplinary geophysical superstations in seismology, geomagnetism and geodesy. The present tender is about large-N (number) array instrumentation for seismic active and passive seismic observations.
