Short description
National Bureau of Investigation Forensic laboratory in Finland is planning to acquire a new optical comparison microscope.
Comparison microscope shall have the next features:
• suitable for forensic firearms examinations, specially for bullets and cartridge cases,
• suitable holders for all exhibits,
• suitable magnification,
• suitable lightning, especially LED ring and spotlights, diffusers, polarizers and filters available,
• possibility for remote control, and
• compatibility with microscopic and ballistic identification systems in other Nordic countries.
