The Norwegian University of Life Science (NMBU) would like to enter into a framework agreement with one tenderer of medicinal products for veterinary purposes. Contracts could be signed with several tenderers if the need is not sufficiently met by one tenderer. Internal procurers with requirements for the delivery are mainly the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Campus Ås and the Section for Small Ruminant Research in Sandnes.
Many of the products in this procurement are connected to a high risk for breaches of basic human rights, both in raw product extraction, component production and assembly. This is reflected through our focus on ethical trade and social responsibility for this procurement.
The Faculty for Veterinary Medicine will, according to the plan, be co-located with Campus Ås in Ås Municipality in 2020.
