Short description
The contract includes assignments for mapping of Ecosystem types in Norway in accordance with given geographical areas, as well as a limited registration of species in each locality. The purpose of the assignment is to obtain data by field mapping in accordance with Miljødirektoratets [the Norwegian Environment Agency] instructions for mapping of ecosystem types given by the Norwegian Biodiversity Information Centre and to determine the ecological quality in the mapped locations. The mapping must be performed in line with the Norwegian Environment Agency's manual for mapping of ecosystem types which will be available in an updated version in 2020. The manual describes mapping of ecosystem types based on the instructions given by the Norwegian Biodiversity Information Centre (NBIC), as the mapping is to be carried out in assignments for the Norwegian Environment Agency in 2020. The manual describes the ecosystem types that are to be mapped and it describes how to determine the locality quality.
