The University of Helsinki is looking to license a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) with the following requirements (for full list of requirements, please refer to the requirements list, this is just to give an overview): A Personal Learning Environment / ePortfolio program for students and faculty, which includes enables the creation of multiple ePortfolios per one user account, including pages, portfolios, collections of pages, reflection assignments, and learning badges that can be integrated from open badge producers and cross-referenced within the program as well as into Learning Management Systems (LMS) as API. The ePortfolio program should support uploading and presenting multimedia such as text, linking, file uploads, embedded pictures and videos, and built-in embedding from various other content-creation platforms. There should be a possibility to create in-program assignments and for students to share those across platforms as links, published pages, and assignment submissions within the institution/program, as well as for persons who do not have a login at all. There needs to be a possibility to grade the assignments within the program and provide links for templates and assignments within the LMS. Users need to be able to collaboratively access and create portfolios and pages. LMS API connection needs to cover all the major LMS’s used in Europe: Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas, D2L, etc. Please refer to the full list of requirements for more details.
