This procurement procedure comprises of 2 separate tasks:

1)Support for the Danish Think Tank on Prevention of Food Loss and Food Waste in the development of a voluntary agreement between businesses in the supply chain, and

2)the delivery of a catalogue describing initiatives to reduce food waste and food loss along the whole supply chain, building the ‘business case’ for a voluntary agreement and providing recommendations and suggestions for impactful activities.

The actual detailed description and the requirements of the tendered project appear from the specification of requirements, Appendix 2.

We have received the following questions, which have been answered below:

Regarding the first separate task: Support in developing the voluntary agreement, should the work being done here be regarded purely as advisory support for the think tank who then produces process descriptions itself, or does the work also entail the production of specific process descriptions?

The work includes the production of the specific process description in writing.

What is meant by “in-depth description of the decision procedures” as a part of the delivery in the first specific task?

The voluntary agreement is an agreement between multiple companies and the organisers. We need a step by step description of the decision procedures, including input for the articles of association, and who has the mandate to decide what, but also a description of questions that could occur, and that could be a matter of “greyzone”.

In what format should the offer include presentations of team members?

The presentation of team members should include CVs and a description of relevant experience within the field of voluntary agreements.

Should we be ready to start the project in July?

We expect the work to start up in end of August.

The tender indicates an equal split of the budget for the two tasks, is this fixed? Our view is that the second deliverable is less complex.

Both tasks are equal as important to us, but we are open to discuss how much time that will be delegated to each task.

Do you have any specific priorities on the list of tasks? This could help us to focus the budget allocation on the most important points

All tasks are important to us. In the offer you should include a description of how you see the tasks in the tender resolved in the best way. If you do not believe that you can deliver certain tasks within the budget you should leave them out, with an explanation as to why you have left them out. We will choose the offer that fits our award criteria best. The offer that you have submitted will then work as a supplement to the contract.
