Short description

Accelerator Laboratory of the Department of Physics, University of Jyväskyla aims to acquire two (2) (with an option to third device) new broad energy range germanium detectors with crystal area of 65 cm2 for nuclear structure research. The broad energy range germanium detectors will be used to detect x-ray and gamma-ray radiation emitted by exotic nuclei produced in nuclear reactions. The broad energy range germanium detectors are foreseen to be used in an environment where significant exposure to fast neutrons is not expected. The broad energy range germanium detectors should be delivered no later than 1st week of November 2019.
