A matter announcing the possibility of participating in a technical dialogue for road ferry traffic services competitive tendering.
Southwest Finland’s Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment is planning to tender road ferry traffic services in Lakeland Finland (Järvi-Suomi).
Road ferry traffic service consists of road ferry trafficking and expert services. Road ferry traffic service is accomplished as a full service which includes having necessary main ferries and backup ferries for traffic, traffic management in accordance with the specified service level, communication of the traffic service to customers, receipt and processing of customer feedback in Finnish, Swedish and English, and small-scale management of state-owned ferry traffic infrastructure.
The technical dialogue will take place in writing by commenting on the draft tender documents in October, 2020. The purpose of the technical dialogue is to define the technical specifications related to the subject of the procurement as precisely as possible. in addition, service provider-specific meetings may be held on demand with those service providers / operators who have commented the draft tender documents. Service provider-specific meetings will be arranged in November 2020, if necessary. Meetings will be on-line meetings or arranged in Southwest Finland’s Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, in address Itsenäisyydenaukio 2, Turku, Finland.
The technical dialogue is not a call for tenders leading to a decision but a preliminary identification of the subject of the contract. When the competitive bidding is decided to organize, a separate procurement notice will be published at a later date. Participation in the technical dialogue shall in no way affect the position of the tenderer in any future tender.
Participation in the technical dialogue is voluntary and in no way binding on the participants.
