The background for the procurement is a need for assistance with the implementation of systems to support the white paper 25 2015 ‘On the Right Road’. The structure for the future companies has not yet been decided. The work on what systems shall be established has started, and it is managed and coordinated by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.
The road toll reform refers to society's need to have more efficient road toll collection in Norway, so that as much as possible of the road toll is used for road and infrastructure purposes. The road toll branch currently operates a system that does not fulfil the requirements for efficiency, technology and performance management.
The work tasks that are expected to be carried out:
Fjellinjen will enter into framework agreements after this competition with five to ten tenderers who can assist Fjellinjen in projects including technical competence within IT architecture, security, integration and hand-over to operation and management. Mini-competitions will be held with call-offs. The framework agreements are expected to have a total extent of between 2 NOK and 10 000 000 NOK.
