A zoning plan shall be prepared with a technical preliminary project for Bybanen from downtown to Åsane. The line was approved by Bergen City Council in 2016, and further clarification is expected regarding a decision about the line in Sandviken prior to notification of the selection of qualified tenderers in accordance with the tender documentation point 9.4. The planning work also includes zoning of the main bicycle route from downtown to Åsane.
