Trumpas pirkimo aprašymas CERN intends to place a Contract for the supply of an estimated quantity of 200 CAD2 Desktop Workstations (hereinafter referred to, in whole or in part, as the “Supply”), as defined in this
Technical Description, including its annexes, and in accordance with the criteria defined in the Qualification Questionnaire.
Workstations shall be based on the x86 architecture with 64-bit extensions (e.g. Intel Xeon with Intel64, AMD EPYC/RYZEN THREADRIPPER with AMD64) or any successor of these architectures. They shall also be equipped with an accelerator card such as a Nvidia RTX A2000. Workstations are dedicated to run CAD software and shall be certified to operate under Microsoft Windows 11 as well as RedHat Enterprise Linux 9.
